NeaFit Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect and Why

Brand (merchant) contacts give us a name, email, and store domain so we can set up their account and send service notices. We do not collect your name, phone number, or home address through the widget — body information (gender, height, weight) is used only to generate recommendations and to answer your size questions (see Section 3), never for any other purpose. If you use the Service as a guest (without creating an account), the height, weight, and sizing preference you enter are stored both on your device (your browser's local storage, so you don't have to re-enter them) and on our servers under an anonymous guest ID — not linked to your name or email unless you later create an account, in which case your guest data is merged into it. This information is used only for size recommendations and size questions, is not sold or shared, and is deleted according to the retention periods in Section 2.

2. How Long We Keep It

• Account, closet, profile, and feedback data: deleted without delay once you close your account.
• Guest profile data (height, weight, and sizing preference entered without an account): body measurements a shopper enters are deleted 12 months after their last activity. Shoppers can ask the store or us to delete them sooner at hello@neafit.xyz.
• Recommendation and analysis records: kept about 12 months from creation, then deleted (used for quality review and responding to inquiries in the meantime).
• Size chat conversations, including anything you type in the chat: deleted 3 years after the conversation's last message.
• Raw usage events: kept 6 months, then deleted; after that we only retain statistics that cannot identify you.
• Information a law requires us to keep longer (for example, transaction records under Korean e-commerce law) is kept for that legally required period.

3. Disclosure to Others

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. The merchant whose store you are shopping on can see, in its NeaFit admin, the size conversations held on its store: the conversation itself and the height, weight, and usual size you entered, under an anonymous ID or an automatically generated display name. Merchants never see your name, email address, or other contact details through NeaFit. They see this information so their team can answer your size questions, and they may use it only for that purpose. If you ask to talk to the store's team, your conversation so far, which may include the size details you shared, goes to that store. Anything else a merchant receives from NeaFit, such as usage statistics, is aggregated and cannot identify you.

4. Service Providers and Where Your Data Goes

Your data is stored on servers in the Republic of Korea. Generating an AI recommendation requires sending your height, weight, and the product's size chart to Anthropic in the United States for processing — this is the only case where your body information leaves Korea, and it is sent only for that purpose.

5. Your Rights

You can view, correct, or delete your information, or ask us to stop processing it, at any time — directly from the widget's account page, or by writing to us below. If you used the Service as a guest, ask the store or write to hello@neafit.xyz to have your measurements deleted.

• California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — you can still exercise your other rights by writing to hello@neafit.xyz. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights — for example, by denying you the Service, charging you a different price, or providing a different level of quality. To protect your data, we may ask you to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
• Canada (PIPEDA): for a privacy question or complaint under Canadian law, write to hello@neafit.xyz.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use only the cookies and local storage entries needed to run the Service — for example, keeping you signed in and remembering your unit preference (cm/kg vs. ft/lb). As described in Section 1, if you use the Service as a guest, your entered measurements are stored both in local storage on your device and on our servers under an anonymous guest ID. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use cookies to track you across other websites.

7. Deletion and Safeguards

• Deletion: electronic records are erased using methods that cannot be recovered.
• Safeguards: passwords (where they exist) are stored one-way encrypted, traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), staff access is limited to what each role needs, and access is logged.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
